This weekend sees the return of Las Vegas Car Stars, Paul Casey's free event to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. Dozens of cars and celebrities from Movies and TV will be on hand. Scheduled to appear from Knight Rider is Catherine Hickland, Jack Gill, George Barris, Buzz Bundy, Bob Bralver, Tom Greene, James Winburn and KITTs from both the original series and the 2008 reboot (Those are just some of the many)

If you are in Las Vegas this weekend, stop by on Saturday from 10am to 4pm for a fun day filled with amazing vehicles and celebrities! We will be on hand and will report back throughout the day via our twitter account.

Just a reminder there's a 30th Anniversary Celebration event at Universal Studios Hollywood THIS, Saturday August 25th. Organized by the Knights of the Southwest, fans are gathering to spend some time in the theme park, then meeting up some celebrity VIPs from the show for Q&A, autographs, dinner and more. The premier event for Knight Rider fans in Europe makes a return for it's fifth anniversary on September 1st. KnightCon UK repeatedly has been a respected and world class event. Rob and Steve work really hard to make sure all fans have a great time, and in previous years have had the great success of reuniting many of the original cast, including Rebecca Holden, Peter Parros and David Hasselhoff. Other past guests have included Michael Scheffe and Catherine Hickland - as well as an amazing reproduction of the interior Semi set from the series and countless replicas.

Details for this years event are still being firmed up, but have so far confirmed the return of Peter Parros, Michael Scheffe and Rebecca Holden. The event is FREE to the public! There are however a limited number of VIP passes available for £30 which gets you into an exclusive party the night before.

If you are in the Atlanta area this weekend, be sure to stop by Southern Knights Atlanta, which runs both Friday and Saturday. Join Rebecca Holden, Michael Scheffe, Ed Crick, Ron Martinez, countless replicas, props and fans as they join together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Knight Rider!

Officially kicking off today (though they had their preview night last night) this years San Diego Comic Con will have some fun things to check out for fans of Knight Rider, with both Hot Wheels and Diamond Select Toys showcasing Knight Rider goodies.

hotwheels_sdcc.jpgAt the Hot Wheels booth (#3029), where they are promoting their upcoming KITT releases in 1:34 and 1:64 scales, they have a beautiful KITT on the floor (Alex Wong's beautiful replica)! As an SDCC exclusive you can for $40 purchase a 1:64 KITT in a state of permanent turbo boost, with audio files from William Daniels and scanner display. (there is even rumor of Hoff himself making an appearance this weekend!)

*UPDATE* Confirmed by MattyCollector : "David Hasselhof AKA "Michael Knight" will be on hand Friday in celebration of the popular 80's TV show KNIGHT RIDER and the Hot Wheels K.I.T.T. Knight Industries Two Thousand car Friday from 2:30 to 4:30pm at the Mattel Booth #3029.

diamond_select_kitt.jpgOver at the Diamond Select booth (#2607), who have spent this year releasing both Knight Rider figures/vehicles for their Minimates line as well as KNIGHT license plates, will have prototypes of their upcoming future releases for Knight Rider. They too will have a KITT on display outside the convention center, so be sure to be on the lookout!

Knight Rider Festival IV has come and gone, and it's taken us some time to recover! This time for it's fourth year, it paired up with Las Vegas Car Starts to make it a memorable event. Peter Parros, RC3, joined us for his first US based show - having not aged a day - was very approachable and genuine. Bob Bralver, 2nd unit director and Director for 4 episodes of the original series had endless amazing stories to tell. They were joined by the beautiful Rebecca Holden, Michael Scheffe, Jack Gill, Buzz Bundy, Dennis Braid, and James Winburn.

Representing Car Stars was was John Schneider, Erik Estrada, Paul Michael Glaser, Claudia Wells, Antonio Fargas and dozens of others (view list), all gathering together to make a difference for Children's Miracle Network.

Congrats to Paul for another great event, and we'll see you next year!

The Knight Rider Festival is just over a month away celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Knight Rider! It is taking place on May 18th and 19th in Fremont Street, Las Vegas. Now in it's fourth year, the Festival's primary mission is to be a free event for the fans to benefit the Children's Miracle Network and make a difference in a child's life.

This year, producer Paul Casey has combined Knight Rider Festival with Las Vegas Car Stars, to create a colossal event with an amazing assortment of both stars and cars. Be sure to check out the special guests for the latest agreed stars - new surprises being added every day!

If you are a replica car owner or even a classic car owner, you still have time to register, so be sure to sign up and not miss out on all the fun stuff in store.

Discounted rooms are still available, however staying on property this year does not get you into the VIP party, that is a separate fee - which is more flexible allowing everyone to experience the festival the way they want to.

We'll be there live covering it again, and can't wait to meet some new faces and see some old friends!

With exactly a month to go until Knightcon 2011, it would appear that we somehow missed a very important piece of news coming out of the UK on August 18th.

However, the big news is the first ever Knight Rider event appearance of Peter Parros, known to one and all as RC3!

In addition, the Knightcon Team have also announced a fourth special guest; Dirk Benedict of Battlestar Galactica and A-Team fame.

Producer Paul Casey's team has finished putting together the official video from Knight Rider Festival III! It is a slick production highlighting all the exciting happenings from the event. And you are able to watch it online for FREE.

If you were in Las Vegas, you'll be able to relive the weekend. If you couldn't make it to Vegas, you'll see all that you missed. Either way, it's sure to get you excited for next year's 30th anniversary celebration!
