As we mentioned last week, Navtones and this site are bringing to you an exclusive opportunity. So go ahead and ask your question!

Thanks to Navtones we've got a really unique experience to share. As you know, we've been working with them for some time promoting the first KITT product for Mio, and now the release of the update of KITT Car Voice for TomTom and Garmin. One of the things we at KRO thought would be really fun to do was to inteview to Mr. Daniels. Navtones thought this idea was great and together we have put together a way for the community to help do the interview!

Visit:
http://knightrideronline.com/navtones/

The best 20 questions chosen by KRO and Navtones will be asked to Mr. Daniels as he records additional content for the device, which includes those missing names they've been collecting from the first release. We'll then post those on audio clips on a weekly basis, gearing up for the product itself to be available for download. The plan is to be able to hear Daniels answer the questions over audio, without text to read!

So please, spread the word! And get your questions in early! It is very rare for him to give interviews, and to have this type of personal access - well I can't express how amazing this opportunity is!

Only questions entered at knightrideronline.com/navtones will be eligible for consideration!

With the news recently that the former exclusive KITT voice was coming to other GPS devices, we started to wonder what was next for our friends at Navtones. When we first heard what that was, our first thought was "of course!"

David Hasselhoff, Mr. Michael Knight himself, was in the Navtones studio last week recording his dialog for his GPS voice and hopes to be as "irreverent and funny" as he is. It should be available as a downloadable add on to your TomTom or Garmin device. He posted this clip to his HoffSpace blog.

Also be sure to check out this fantastic clip we were very shocked to find in our mailbox, as special shot out from David to all the Knight Rider fans on knightrideronline.com! Thanks David, and thanks Navtones!

Remember, there is still time to get your voice added to the KITT release for TomTom and Garmin, visit navtones.com to add your name considered to be personalized.

Another clip with David recording is after the jump.

Yesterday, David appeared on the Mix 94.1 morning show "Mark and Mercedes In The Morning" to promote America's Got Talent. He briefly touched upon the Knight Rider series saying that it "ran its course" but that he hopes that Glen's movie does well and that he can be involved if "only to make sure it's done right". You can listen to the entire interview here.

We mentioned last week, that the UK channel Living aired The Hoff: When Scott Came To Stay, a look into Scott Mills, a UK radio personality, and his week living with David Hasselhoff. This week they've aired part 2 which features when we caught up with David and Scott filming back in January as they met the members of the Knights of the West Coast organization and their fleet of KITT Replicas.

Head over to YouTube if you want to see some clips, or check out their official website for behind the scenes info and pictures.

Back in August, we were alerted about a music video by a band called The Boy Cruise that shot some scenes for their music video "Don't Hassel the Hoff" with David Hasselhoff and KITT. This video was just released and is pretty hilarious with some crazy scenes by the band and the Hoff Himself. It must be tough living with people jumping out of bushes every day.

Check it out and remember - Don't Hassel the Hoff!

HEAT of the KNIGHT

Despite cameos from the Hoff and a talking car voiced by Val Kilmer, the new Knight Rider's true star is the formidable Deanna Russo.

By Allison Prato

Great news for anybody who's stuck in the '80s: NBC is bringing back Knight Rider, the iconic TV classic, with a Transformers-like KITT, balls-to-the-wall action, and a leading lady who's hotter than any babe from Dynasty. Her name is Deanna Russo, and after a recurring role on The Young and the Restless and guest spots on everything from N.C.I.S. to CSI, she's finally in the driver's seat.

We hear you've been doing tons of fight scenes and weapons training. If a crazy KITT lover attacks you in a dark alley, how will you defend yourself?

My character is known for her kicks and excellent marksmanship. If the attacker is far away, I'll shoot him down, and if he's close, I'll kick him to the ground. In other words, she's not just the good-looking girl in the corner who cries and doesn't know how to defend herself. I'm gonna pick a fight with the boys. I've been learning a mix of everything from karate to kick boxing to doble olisi.

Never heard of it, but it sounds terrifying.

It's a Filipino martial art. You have two bamboo sticks, and you can do some gnarly shit with them. You take someone out, or, if they have a gun, you can disarm them in half a second.

For all the Knight Rider fans out there, how can you assure them you guys aren't butchering the franchise?

The most important part of Knight Rider was the car, and we're putting it on the highest pedestal we can-honoring it as this incredible machine. Nowadays, everybody has a talking car, with GPS systems and OnStar, but this KITT is on a whole new level. For example, he's able to morph from a truck bed back into a Mustang.

Check out this video of David Hasselhoff just arriving in LA after the long Gumball 3000 drive from San Francisco. Our roving reporter Sue was able to get a few shout outs to the viewers of Knight Rider Online as well!

David is as gracious as ever, and even though he must be completely exhausted, he always gives 110% to the fans. Thank you David for a great day yesterday!

Sorry to keep posting these, but we are getting pretty excited by this! This video shows David checking out the KITT that he will be driving in the Gumball 3000 tomorrow. KITT looks a bit decked out in gold sponsorship (I see he likes Monster Energy Drinks).

kitt decked out in sponsorship

David also tells a nice story about his dad. Also of note is the dash, it looks like a early season dash, but then has a single TV unit, signaling a later season. Perhaps it is true that it's a screen used KITT - cause that dash has seen better days!

screen used kitt?

Thanks to Sue for the screen grabs.

For all you Hoffamaniacs, the third season of America's Got Talent starts tonight at 9pm on NBC. To get you in the mood, here is a video of David Hasselhoff preforming "This is the Moment" on a previous season.
