South Rider (South Park - Knight Rider Crossover)

Knight Driver and I thought it would be funny to do a south park style animation but based on everyone's favorite show Knight Rider. This is obviously a parody and will in no way be serious. Its going to be just as offensive as South Park if not more.

Considering how simple south park animation is, this project would actually be pretty easy to do and we think it could be funny as hell, and could also result in an online series if there is enough interest. It will all be done by Knight Driver and myself in Flash ( a pretty common multimedia plug in) and will hopefully be hosted by atom films if they will accept it.

Let us know your opinions.

I was about to pass on this idea, but when I read what you wrote, I thought it was an okay idea. I never really was into South Park, but I think this would be great for fans.

....just imagined KITT getting killed in every episode and Micheal speaking that infamous line "they killed KITT, you....!"

My first roommate to have this year was always turning South Park on. It was so stupid and gross. But I guess it would be worth seeing a version of it spoofing my favorite show to watch now.

Ok, I just want to update everyone, Knight Driver and I are actually quite surprise by the responses that we got in just a few hours. So I think its safe to say we're at least going to give you guys a pilot.

Right now we are working on all the sets artwork wise, character wise we are just using the character creator from the official south park site, all we have to do is animate them in flash, and considering how simple south park animation is, it wont be all that challenging.

A few spoilers for you guys, KITT is planned to be a state of the art power wheels vehicle. The first episode will be totally spoofing Knight Of The Phoenix. Such as Michael Long working a case at a Las Vegas Arcade, where someone has been stealing plans for a new Pac Man Prototype called Ms. PacMan. It contains ground breaking technology (ms. PacMan has a bow) and everyone wants to get there hands on it. That's all I'm blurting out for now.

We are working on a short teaser animation clip as we speak, and I'll keep you guys informed as we work on it. :) Please feel free to keep posting ideas, as I'm loving the KITT getting destroyed every episode bit!

sad that people never take the time to get past this view point. this show, while gross and disgusting, has some of the best lessons and morals in the end conclusion than any show ever made. it pokes fun at the deepest in bred ideals this country holds onto...racism, homophobia...ANYTHING. its shocking what you can learn about this sad race of human we have become... most people that dont like it i have found, are those most affected personally by what they make fun of...

Well, I hope by what you mean about racism and homophobia is a way of saying those are major issues going on in this country. You better not be trying to say someone in particular on here is prejudice toward African-Americans and homosexuals. It almost sounds like you are. That is not a proper way to judge people.

Dudes, seriously, this could be great. Just please don't rush it. I know we're all dying to see it and you're real eager to get it out there, but it will be worth the wait to do it up right.
