Set in a post-apocalyptic 2010, this film follows Jake McQueen as he navigates a lawless world where corporations control everything. After his girlfriend Hannah is murdered by a corporate enforcer, Jake discovers that her consciousness has been digitized. He obtains a souped-up Ford Mustang with an advanced AI system and sets out to find Hannah's digital essence and bring her killers to justice. Despite sharing the Knight Rider name, this film features an entirely different story and cast from the original series.
