Here's a cool little gimmick for any KR fan's pc...
It requires building your own circuitry however...
Personally I'll take it to some electronics vendor...
I'll send you pics when it's done...

some month ago I found a schematic to change the HD-LED to a Scanner LED... only problem: it was designed for 10 channels.
Each time, the HD LED flashes, the Scanner goes on step further....
Maybe I can find it again- I want to use it in my KITT-Case:

I was actualy thinking of building that for a pc but the only problem is taking the power from the power supply might drain its life span. The other problem is it takes up a slot that you can use for a flash card reader,cd rom ect.

I think the power supply can handle that little "more" energy
The missing slot is not a real problem for me, because I designed the lower Case-Overlay to fit a 10-step-LED-Scanner:
Here is a little WMV of my case:

as special gimmick I want to add a scannerlight to the KITT-Model inside my Case- wired parallel to the HDD-Scanner....

Wow!
That's got to be one of the most impressive computer cases I've ever seen. Mine was was custom built by my friend but damn, yours puts it to shame. Great job!
