The third version of the VH1 series has a segment on St. Elsewhere in the 1983 episode. They talk about Dr. Craig being the voice of KITT, and even super-impose a scanner on his forehead.
CRAP! I totally forgot it was on this week! I'll have to catch it tonight if I can. Anyway that's a great clip. The scanner on Mr. Daniels' head was funny and I'm guilty of the same thing. Everytime I'd watch Boy Meets World I was think KITT not Mr. Feeny.
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"
Hah, good on Mike. I wasn't sure if they would do Knight Rider again, I mean how many times are they gonna do the 80s anyway! It was a nice spin to get the show back in there.
I was watchign boy meets worls when it first aired it wasnt until mid season2 I found that voice so familiar.I just could'nt put my finger on it (knight of the juggernaught).I was shocked when I figured out what show he was from. But somehow the voice seemed a little different when it came form on the boy meets world then on knight rider.
Looking at the clip again that was Wil Weaton talking about "out of his mouth came the voice of KITT". Wil Weaton played Ensign Wesley Crusher, the ship's Chief Medical Officer Beverly Crusher's son on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Speaking of the movie, 1776, I actually saw the movie during the time I was in school, but it was part of study, not part of break time.
That's crazy, isn't it?
William Daniels makes better sense as the voice of KITT anyway, even if the movie "1776" was kind of fun. Maybe.
Did you guys see the first version of I love the 80's about Knight Rider? Julie Brown called it an IROC and Dave Mustaine from Megadeth was like, " I think that car was a Firebird,.. or a Trans Am. Pontiacs are junk..." I swear I wanted to kill him.
