Anyone here who can create Dashboard Artwork?

I seen this Side today:

and was asking myself if somebody can do this @ home, I need some help to create a dash

I can try. done this at home on paper, but nevery tried a full digital dash before

I've already done this and somewhat improved upon juha's original art for my KRC book. My version has the gullwing added, switchpods, and other details. I used a program called Adobe Illustrator for the lineart work. If you have a copy of my book, you can also see the fonts I used for each dash listed in it as well.

Great Job, very nice and Yes I have the book...I love it...and that is how it looks. I read and work with it alot I am just asking, because I am interested in a version of the dasg for KR2010. I have some screenshots here and there is a dash but they never show it But its there. Can somebody make the dash for me when I upload the pics???

I’ve been building basic schematics using Microsoft Excel for a few years now. I began with a basic cell structure that resulted in very little design accuracy, and am now at the point where (by utilising the grid to create the various pieces that form KITT’s instrumentation) I’ve got a full set of colour dashboards that are constantly being tweaked towards the kind of accuracy that a Knerd like me tends to strive for.

Unfortunately, I’m not ready for the full scale versions to make their debut just yet, so I’ve reduced the size from 5077 x 1233 to 600 x 146.

Hey Lars,

I'm afraid that the KR 2010 dashboard is out of my league at the moment due to the analogue gauges being a completely different animal to KITT's digital ones. I'm also not sure of the major details such as the crystal location due to the lack of visuals in the movie, which is something that will make creating an accurate version of it extremely difficult.

I used to spend thousands of hours drawing kitt dashboards.I stopped about 1 year ago drawing at work.Thats when they started putting us on commissions +salary.Here's a sample of what I used to be able to do without visual aids.



I made this at home and it took me about 4 hours in adobe illustrator a few years ago.

Digital would be nice...I crate a KR2010 Replica next year...it is gonna be awsome but I need full dash, dou you make everything else on it like the prism and all? Do not forget the Thunderbird MPH/RPMs Digital is great

There is mesh protective netting between the front and rear seat in the car. Noticed it with a flashlight when checking out the interior, which also features a joystick and keyboard!
