KITT 1:18 scale diecast model
I recently e-mailed Ertl (the manufacturer of the American Muscle series of diecast models) and made a couple of suggestions for new additions to their series, one of them being KITT. While they do not have any current plans to make KITT, I was told that my suggestion would be forwarded to the Product Development team. I know it's not necessarily groundbreaking news, but at least it means they've been alerted to the want (of at least one person) of a KITT model. A little bit of sunshine on the horizon, anyhow.

Yea, that the model that the original thread was talking about Dave. Darendor just asked if Hot Wheels ever released any cars, to which I brought up the 1/64 that their competitor (sister company?) produced a few years back.
I don't believe there has been a 1/18th die cast car, but here is to hoping that they do!
