I just watched all the interviews, it certainly SEEMS like they're taking care. That TKR promo neps has up on the site, you'll notice that they barely mention the original. The do talk about it quite a bit in this promo.

And that bit about considering William Daniels...PLEASE let him voice the Knight 2000 in some way shape or form at least once!! lol. If the Knight 2000 appears at all I will be thrilled, and if he talks? Man, I might even forgive them for the Mustang, lol.

I agree that Wil Arnett sounds like a pretty good Knight 3000, it'd be nice to see them talk to each other at some point (doesn't have to be in the first episode, haha). I know KITT talked to the KIFT, but KIFT didn't have a personality. The 3000 does apparently, so it could be fun to see them interact, again, at least once.

But I know not to get my hopes up, but man would it be cool...
