I guess David was at the last American Idle of this season. When they announced the winner, he was in the audience tearing up and clapping.

Leno made fun of him a wee bit..

This was Thursday nights Leno.

He was saying how he was crying when that guy won American Idle. Leno said:

"When did he go from Baywatch to Gaywatch?"

David was applauding for the winner. One contestant from here in Richmond came in third in the overall standings (he got elimiminated last week).
