Justin Bruening gets keys to "Knight Rider"
The news broke today that All My Children star Justin Bruening, will take the lead roll in the new movie currently being produced by NBCUniversal.
The news broke via the Hollywood Reporter, and several other outfits have followed up with similar claims since.
"Bruening will play the son of Michael Knight, the character played by David Hasselhoff in the original series. And like father, like son, the choice of Bruening closely resembles Hasselhoff's casting a quarter-century ago."

I was big Knight Rider fan growing up in the 80's and I have seen all the so called Knight Rider spin-offs, but for me the original series will always be only one that matters. To hear that a new Knight Rider is coming really makes me happy, I still watch the original series on Virgin1 in the UK today. I do hope they keep it close to the original and not the KR2000, KR2010 or Team Knight Rider.
I would still have liked to see David Hasselhoff back in the series has Michael Knight, I mean why not make him the boss of FLAG or something. I also think they should have at lease flashbacks from the original series. KITT has to be black mainly just so people of the original series can remember the past. For me the most important thing about the new Knight Rider that is the most important is the how KITT looks and preforms and please bring back Turbo Boost and the eject seats.
