I was just browsing play.com and found this,

What is this Limited Kitt edition?? it also says 26 discs :shock: .

anyone shed any light on this???

Can't shed any light on it but a best guess is the 26 disc's is the totals for the existing box sets added up.

Universals recent track record suggests to me that the limited edition box set is to try and get people to pay twice for the same product. All the studios are at it now with re-release after re-release.

Maybe that set (looks due out Nov. 13th) will have the corrected season 3??

Just a couple of thoughts. I know Paramount release the complete Star trek sets in nice packaging....eg the transporter for the voyager set, a massive decorated square tin for Enterprise....maybe its something like that. Could be in a KITT shape? cant see how that would work though. Another possibility is that it could be model KITT with the boxset.

They should put in a model KITT and KARR with the set. :)

Probably they will put a small replica of KITT. That is very nice ! :wink:

Season 1 has 8 discs and the other Seasons have 6 discs each one. So, 26 discs are in total.
