Real life Knight Rider
Just a thought, has anyone come across a person, placename etc. from the series in real life? I have two instances to get us started. First, my uncle is called Michael Knight, and second, I went to school with a girl called Tanya Walker. Luckily, she never shot me in the face! lol

Not a good idea.
Privacy and all that.
Check this out:
http://www.knight-ind.com/about.html
And look on their pages, you'll see they been providing some technology or advice to auto makers!!
That's as close as I've come to seeing a real-life KR thing.
Someone once posted here that there was or is a real-life "Foundation for Law and Government" but to find it is like finding a needle in a haystack because of all the Knight Rider stuff that comes up in search engines.
However, here are some links I DID dig up:
http://citeseer.ist.psu.edu/context/415066/0
Search in page for:
Foundation for Law and Government (REOB)
Individual Rights and Legal Validity
Look at the end of the Introduction, there's small print that says:
"This research was sponsored by the Foundation for Law and Government (REOB),
which is part of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). An earlier
draft of this article was presented at the 1995 meeting of the Public Choice Society in Long
Beach, California"
Interesting connections, huh?

Reminds me, I used to be in a FIDONet (BBS) QuickBasic echo (for programmers for Microsoft QuickBasic, a DOS programming language) way back. In that echo was this kid named "Eric Carr". It stood out for me because the former drummer of the rock group KISS was also "Eric Carr".
Outside of that, that's the only time I knew of someone with the same name as a celebrity. I did meet and talk with a keyboard player named Joe that played with a local band called Spiro Gyra I think it was. I believe that was the band. He was shopping at a music store I usually shopped at back then and we just started talking. Cool guy but I didn't really think about who he actually was until maybe a year or so later, THEN it hit me when I guess I saw an ad for the band playing at a local vanue... Oh, yeah... I met that one guy once!
I also got to talk to my favorite wrestler on a radio show years ago.
But outside of those things, sorry - nothing Knight Rider related.
Not until I get my car to talk, that is.

One off my best friends name is Barry Allen (the flash).
I keep telling him that I know his secret, and he keeps telling me that I am not fast enough to ever find out.
LOL.
I also meet a guy called Devin Miles, it was spelled diferently and he already expected for me to acknowledge that.
I had a KR shirt on, and the guy was like "oh great"

A DOG named "Kitty"?
(ahem) sorry about that.

"Kitty" reminds me of what you name a cat, though.
Though I have heard somewhere of someone who taught their parrot to say "here kitty kitty..."
I remember the episode where they were in the wine country (I'm horrible at remembering episode names) and there was a donkey named "Kitt". The interaction between the donkey and KITT was hilarious! Or the brother:
"I called him that ever since he was just a little @$$" - Brother
"I beg your pardon!" - KITT

I guess in a sense it's funny my last name is "Carr" and I love cars. When I USED to name my car Kitt (he's now named Dryden), it was funny - Carr (Karr?) owned KITT!
or "Kitt and Carr"
I happen to like KARR a lot too. My "Rebel Knight" web site is dedicated to KARR.
Strange, I know...
