Arden Villa, the mansion that doubled for FLAG Headquarters in Knight Rider, made an appearance in the "Automan" episode "Unreasonable Facsimile" (original airdate 12 January 1984). Just caught it on Bravo.
The show was also created by Glen A. Larson, and the episode also featured fellow Knight Rider guest stars Toni Nero (Race For Life), Lina Raymond (Knight Flight to Freedom), Robert Sampson (Just My Bill) and Gerald Gordon (Brother's Keeper, where he also filmed scenes at Arden Villa).

Automan was another Glen Larson show. It centred on a policeman sent to work in the computer division, where he created an intelligent hologram in human form, called Automan. Automan had a fantastic automobile and helicopter at his disposal, and was also super-intelligent. Think of it as kind of a cheesy mixture of Knight Rider and Tron.
It starred Desi Arnaz Jr, Chuck Wagner, and Heather McNair (who played Fran the photographer in the Knight Rider episode "Junk Yard Dog").

Automan and speed are two things that go very well in tandem. On a scale of one to ten, Automan said, he could be rated as, eleven, so you can assume his outlandish Lamborghini Countach could travel at the speed of light, but it actually turns rapidly in right angles and can even go up and down walls! The helicopter isn't so impressive, while the stealth jet was ugly and the motorcycle was unfortunately just a one-off. Other creations in those colours include the "Autogun" (pistol) and an "Autoguitar" as well!
Fun show, and very innovative. The problem was that it was ahead of its time and very expensive, though it had the potential to be a best-seller.
