Pimped Again...

Post by ad227529 » Sun Apr 24, 2005 9:29 pm

today they pimped a 2000 Eclipse and they put Goodyear Run Flats (yo can drive 60mph for 200 miles with no air in the tires) to which Xzibit said;

"Why dont you be puttin those on my car? That's some Knight Rider sh*t there!"

I will never understand Xzibit. I can see why he said that, but then my knowledge of KITT pops into my mind.

KITT's tires could only be popped by special bullets...or that time that he got dunked in the acid...am I right?

So, how does this comment actually make sense?

Sorreh...had to rant...^^;

It makes sense because Knight Rider had a lot of stuff that somehow worked. Its like the Eject feature. How do you eject a person out of a car's t-top without hitting the person on the roof? :wink:

Aparently the DRIVER has to open the auto-roof FIRST. It's funny KITT wouldn't do that automatically when the eject button is pressed but needs Michael to do it for him!

Yet, KARR ejected Toni and opened his own Auto Roof. Of all things, I'd think KARR is more likely to "forget" the Auto Roof and squish whoever inside him. :twisted:

X is a big Knight Rider fan it turns out. He drives some suped up F-150 in the new xXx so I wonder if there are some KR jokes or coments in that movie.
KITT project is on again!

Currently working on: brand new stock tan interior, almost done!

Yeah, I happened to catch this last night with my girlfriend. When Xzibit is looking at the car, first he said something like, "Were you driving like Knight Rider?" So naturally I smiled and she looked at me like I was a dork. It's OK though. I'm speshul.

Its the same in series 1, hes showing the camera around his hummer and hes got this auto petrol cap and it pops out, he looks at the camera and goes "knight rider baby" lol. I think X is a bit of a fan.

I love xzibit, he is so funny, and considering the car was all black and the guy was talking about lights on the car, xzibit was reffering to the red scanner light if I remeber right. Either way, 2 knight rider reffernces on MTV is still proof that it still lives today!

Maybe someday.

Maybe someday they'll find a guy with a really crummy TA and Xzibit will get the idea to "Pimp" his ride into a Knight Rider conversion. If X to the Z is as big of a fan as he seems surely he has some connections with the conversion folks. I could see him browsing Marks Custom Kitt's. With the ammount of money they have to do stuff with on that show turning a firebird into a KITT replica would be like pocket change.

They actually did pimp out a T/A but it was an '81. It was still incredibly sweet though. They made it retro but modern, and no "rice" stuff, thank god.

The 81 they did was pretty alright. But the wheels they put on it SUCKED! They could of put a set of Snowflakes on it or order some wheels from American Racing Wheels. But no, it's all about the "Dubs"

LOL! Well I haven't seen that episode in a while so I don't remember the rims, but knowing how Pimp My Ride is, I'm sure they were "Bling Bling" to the max. :lol:
