KITT's tires in Knight Rider Movie

Post by KNIGHT RAIDER » Thu Feb 24, 2005 8:39 pm

I wonder if KITT will have any specialized tires in the upcoming movie. It would be soo cool to see KITT sporting some super wide tread tires, the kind you find at Big O Tires. It would also be cool to see the 21st Century version KITT with a set of chrome wheels with the spinners on them, as opposed to the bowling ball wheels on the 82 Trans Am.
I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)

All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

Nope...sorry, I disagree with that. While I like the idea of an updated KITT, he really has to have more than a passing resemblance to classic KITT and for me the black bowling ball wheel covers are absolutely a part of that.

Spinners in wheels are a little too "blinging" (sic) for KITT...remember, when Michael had to change his appearance or paste decals or whatever, KITT always hated it.

K.I.T.T with spinner rims? Maybe if he were going to appear in a rap video, God help us if that ever happens, but putting spinner rims on K.I.T.T would seriously turn him into a thug-mobile. Something I don't want to see. Could you just imagine K.I.T.T saying "Wat up dawg" or "Fo-shizle"
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

 Now that would be a sight to see, KITT driving down the streets of LA doing doughnuts, playing rap music with his turbo subwoofers.

Don't forget the hydraulics. No LA thug-mobile is complete without the ability to hop up and down.
