98-02 Trans Am in Knight Rider Movie
I have been searching information about the upcoming Knight Rider Movie and I learned that there is going to be a 21st century version of KITT in addition to the original 82 Trans Am. The new version of KITT is supposed to be a 1998-2002 model Trans Am, which may become the new favorite for a new generation of Knight Rider fans. Hopefully this upcoming film will spark a demand for GM & Pontiac to bring back the Trans Am or at least come out with a 21st century KITT limited edition.
I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)
All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

Ehhh I question the credibility of that information, KNIGHT RAIDER. Officially (or the last time I checked anyway), all we know about the car is an ambiguous quote from David Hasselhoff saying, "A new car and the same car." Does this mean there will be the 1982 Trans Am and a new futuristic supercar?
Or does this mean that it will be the 1982 Trans Am with new upgrades yet still have those distinguishing characteristics like the scanner and voice modulator? I think most fans on this board would love to see K.I.T.T. in a 2002 Trans Am with or without Ram Air, but I'm afraid as of now that's just wishful thinking. Only time will tell.

I came across a site where I saw this movie poster of an actor who I couldn't tell and a picture of a 98-02 Trans Am with a red scanner light and a Ram Air hood. Then I scrolled down the page to see additional photos of a 98-02 KITT without the Ram Air. I guess it is a possibility that the poster & photos were all created by a fan, designed as a teaser.
