Something else besides a car?
Do you see KITT in any other form besides a car after some modifications? It would be kinda of cool to see KITT in a F-22 Raptor fighter jet, thats just my opinion.
Also what do you think of this statement this guy who owns a comic book store said: "Dose it really matter what you put KITT in, just as long as he functions the same."
That statement gave this idea for posting this topic.

Wouldn't it be a problem for KITT to be in a jet fighter?
His primary program is the preservation of life. Gonna be a bit of a problem if KITT is in a military aircraft.
Pilot: Target locked. Missile armed.
KITT: Sorry but I cannot let you do that. Disarming all weapons.
Pilot: wtf?!?!
KITT wouldn't let harm come to anyone, even "the enemy". Thus, he would be useless. On the other hand, if you put KARR in there, with a primary program to obey his master, he should have no problem with it.

SR-71 is a fine piece of machinery. Able to go speeds of Mach 3 if I am not mistaken. Wonder what would happen if KITT went that fast on the road?
Ashame they put it in retirement. It would be neat if LockHeed Martin would make a new SR-71 complete with a dash inside like KITT's.

The SR-71 is indeed a beauty, but it's a shame that its ramjet engines stall if it falls too far below its standard cruising speed, and that it has very little aerobatic capability. Beautiful, beautiful plane though.
Even though that military genious of former President Clinton(sarcasm fully intended) did officially retire the Blackbird, and there are none officially in operation, given that the project began in secrecy, and that the U2 spyplane (much older) is still in service, I'd bet there's a squadron of SR-71s out there somewhere kept in shape for active duty. With the world sitution as it is currently, the military would be crazy not to do so.

Hey you guys remember that "StreetHawk" show?
Wasn't that basically Knight Rider on a motorcycle?
Kitt as a hi-tech motorcycle would be kewl.
Maybe they could incorporate that idea into the movie with RC3 on a "streethawk" bike....and the Kitt and the bike could fall in love and become secret lovers between missions.

Up with same-old same-old, down with change!
I think KITT suits a car body. Cars are powerful and yet ordinary. A plane requires a runway (or at least space for a run-up, with STOL!), and the pilot has to abide by time-constricting rules (flight plans, etc). It's been mentioned on this board that being in a car left Kitt out of the loop occasionally (buildings, steep inclines, narrow spaces), so a plane would really put a drag on the action! And motorcycles would hinder his autonomy - that, and they don't 'command' a scene like a big, growling, low-slung car. Look at TKR (or don't).

THen you could change his name to Seal.I still say they could make KITT into a multi-purpose vehicle. Air, land and sea.
