Re: Knight Rider spoof
Yes. That spoof was good. And I do think it may have been posted, once before. (Or something somewhat similar from a long time ago.)
Actually, I found what YouTube auto linked to afterwards to be far more interesting. A mini interview of cast and creators for KR from way back. Then, a full play through of that European KR game on the PS. Now that has some laughably bad plot writing, going on. I mean, KARR nabs Bonnie and puts her up as the trophy...for racing KITT in the test course? Garthe challenges Michael and KITT to another arena attack challenge. Only Garthe conveniently leaves flaws in Goliath's MBS? Then makes a get away in a chopper...that only follows the canyon roads? (Got to love how the chopper wound up chasing KITT at some points.) Then ties up the pilot that flew in to save him? Garthe places his MBS making factory on a super oil rig with an underground/water tunnel access...mess of a place? Oh...oh, and how way too often, the combat situations turned into car demolitions, instead. Never actually seen the game in all these years. The graphics blew me away. But that plot...was so forced together. I can grasp that the engine might not have been flexible enough to fully establish a more believable flow. But, oy...it was just so Voo-Doo bad. And what was up with that vibe that made it seem like KITT was in mothballs? I mean, functions had to be enabled and the MBS had to be partially re-installed??? They did get the Turbo Boost down, really well. Not eating away at the gas and requiring a few seconds to recharge makes the most sense of any game mechanic I've ever seen.

Something I always found funny about that Davilex game was when you see Garthe escapes from Goliath into the Helicopter, you see him dressed in Michael Knight's clothes. Yet no explanation as to why. I'm sure players were very confused.

Re: Knight Rider spoof
I actually missed that oversight.
Easy answer: Misuse of character models for the scene. Because, the notion that Garthe has some kind of deep, intertwined psychotic need to become Michael Knight for some sort of self filling need to pay retribution to his father's image is way...WAY too deep for this game's level of plot.
