This could be a great car for KITT, stronger, sleeker, faster.

I thought of the same problem. It made me think how many times in the series did kitt have more than 1 passenger. The dog from blind spot. The grandfather and grandson in not a drop to drink. No big thing Devon was in the backseat. The little girl in short notice.Devon in just my bill.Guess we do need a car with a backseat.Knight of the Phoenix, without buddy in the backseat we never would have seen kitt's functions.

I love that body for KITT. What I would do is remove the side lights though, the yellow and red one, and make the scanner a bit wider? Just my thoughts

You do fantastic work!!

I think those side lights are turn signals and legally needed for any car on the road. Besides, a completely black car lacks definition and can look very drab. If you widen the scanner then you'll need to widen the nose mold design beneath it and then those lines won't San with the lines off the hood. I remember Scheffe saying he tried to continue the lines off the stock Trans am when making Kitt.

ahh yes, good point. Perhaps darken the turn signals somehow?

Whats up with everyone always using the the Stock 1982 Pontiac wheels on these concept cars? Doesn't make sense. You would have to use modern day wheel, not old wheels.

They are part of his look as much as the 3 line red bar graph voice modulator and the scanner.I can't see kitt or karr using any other wheels besides those.I've tried recently designing something that bares some resemblance to them.
This design was partly inspired by something Nick Nugent once showed me.Its got an inner ring that holds a plexiglass dark tint in the center similar to the old turbocast rims with bowling ball hubcaps that were screwed on as a top t the rim.
