This must be a stock trans am they used because the tail lights aren't blacked out and theres a dent on the side panel.I also noticed the overhead consoles a regulat cabin light and there are no t-tops on this kitt.

KITT's front quarterpanel was dented also in Speed Demons when they drove up the hill in the race. These were quick scenes so they probably thought at the time that nobody notices them but now we have DVD's and perfect still images so if they knew that at the time, perhaps they would've hammered these big dents smaller if perfect repair wasn't possible, for example time- or moneylimit.
