Is david allowed to be in KR fan video or shortfilm?
I was just thinking ..can david hasselhoff be film in a KITT car driving it.. to make the fans happy ha ha ? Since KRfans want a NEW KR movie.. Or does someone own the rights to the " Michael Knight and kitt" thing? Like if he wanted to make a new KR fan film can he or is he allowed too?

Absolutely - he drove in a K.I.T.T. at Knight Rider Festival II (With Glen A. Larson as his passenger) and has been seen as of late with several different K.I.T.T.s from commercials to the Comedy Central Roast to other various other press events. As for if he would want to be in a fanfilm - doubtful but all legal providing it's with his consent.

Somehow I don't think that the fans have the financial backing for a films production and not to mention David's price to be in the film.Charlie Sheen makes 1.25 mil an episode of Two and a Half Men for a 22 minute show. How much do you think David would want for it?

Well Fan films are hard to do. I have seen lots of them, and some are really good! Knight Racer, you are talking about a current TV show, which has no grounds on a fan film. Most of the Fan made films I have seen, never had to pay original actors to play parts in them. So I don't think David would require any form of payment if he were to star in a fan made film. Plus, you can't sell or make money from fan made films. If you try to, you will be in a world of hurt.. My 2 Cents

There is the best, then the Rest!
