The sudden appearance of Scotty from star trek in Knight Rider 2000 Movie was rather odd. I thought he would re appear later on or a few times during the movie. What exactly was the purpose of his appearance...... just a little light humor or what

I think it was for humor only. I doubt he was there for plot.
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.

i didnt really see the need for it tbh and it just felt like it was put in just to have a cameo and to fill a few minutes . they could of showed kitt not being 100% in some other way ...

the original rumor was that James was a big fan of knight rider and already knew some people involved and thats how he got that spot!

Odd that I would come across this topic now, I was just reading about the Knight 2000 movie, going through the Knight Rider Companion, it actually says that Brian Bosworth was originally asked to do the guest role, but couldnt do it, then they offered it to scotty... Strange how Knight Rider 2000 seems to be on peoples minds lately!

I thought it was COOL that James Doohan was in KR2000!!! I think a lot of People are thinking about KR2000 Because it is a GREAT Movie!!! Also, we are nearing KR2000s 20th Anniversary.
