Hello Everyone,
Noob here with a little something I would like to share with you all and hopefully I can get some helpful feed back with something...
My name is Dan and I am the team captain of junkyard race car team. Every few months we race a 1985 300 ZX in a race series called the "24 Hours of Lemons". Our car has been modified to be a "KITT" tribute car. it is all blacked out and has the red light on the front. Where the back side windows used to be we have externally facing speakers that play a loop of the "wrrr wrr" noise, the theme from the TV show and the song "jump in my car" performed by the "Hoff" himself.
What I would like to do is have the ability to make the car talk w/o spending a bunch of money. If I could get the actual KITT voice it would be ideal but something similar would work also... Basically we roll our car thru technical inspection where we have to satisfy the safety requirements and then there is the infamous secondary inspection. Here you are judged on the theme of your car. These judges expect to be bribed with booze, cash and whatever else you have for them and if they are pleased the award you zero penalty laps. I am hoping I can have a pre recorded series of comments for the judges making fun of them and their evil ways in hopes of them enjoying the car that much more. For our next race in August. We already have swimsuit models in "Baywatch" style outfits planned as out them is not entirely KITT themed but more of a "Hasselhoff" them encompassing all the greatness of the Iconic Star.
I have done some searching and can't find anything. Can anyone help????

lol this is great!! First you need to get a bunch of William Daniels wav files or buy the fancy DVD they have and then get a carpc with the voice recognition. If you want to be cheap though you can just edit a CD that plays comments in the order you want which is what I have. You also need to find someone with an Itouch or Iphone and get the phonerider app to use as a VM! Good luck with the judging and it's nice to see another import KITT
