They was doing a actors relations promo and guess who made the cut? Sydney Tamiia Poitier and her relation to her dad. Nice to see NBC plugging it still .

Do you mean they were profiling Sydney Poitier on the Today Show as an actress from Knight Rider, or was this just an example of a child following his/her parent's footsteps in the acting gig?

Both! They showed the KR title screen and then Sydney and then her dad. About a 10 sec. mention but it's better than nothing .
