If the the show tanks how can the fans save a dead franchise

Yes people if the show tanks rest assured that no one will pick up the tab for either a movie or a new show for the foreseable future meaning in our lifetimes, unless drastic action is taken by the fans just like those of Firefly did.

If the show does tank and the fanchise dies the only way to revive it would be by people buying DVDs from the TV pilot and whatever NBC decides to excreate to DVD from season 1.

DVD sales could at least allow someone perhaps 20,30 or 50 years down the line to make something beyond that, there is nothing more...
