Re: Interview with David Andron - Part 1
Read it and liked what I saw glad he's in agreement about KR2000 and TKR, hopefully that means there won't be any ties to either. Look forward to part two, so far just reading that I'm liking him more.
I dunno about anyone else but I'm willing to give the TV movie a pass if there's some noticeable script issues due to how little time they had to get the script out before the strike deadline and then not being able to do anything. I dunno if I could handle not being able to tweak things as I saw fit if needed, strike be damned. I guess I'd end up blackballed and pretty much kill my career.

The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Believe it or not, I'm not going to be as lenient... I think the show needs to stand on its own. If you hand in a book report and say "I was up all night working on it so there may be some typos", your teacher will probably say "well why didn't you start sooner?" NBC knew about the strike ahead of time, and they chose to make the film. Good or bad, it's the final result that matters.
However, what I am willing to be a little more forgiving with is how well the movie will translate into a series. If there are a few rough edges, that's fine with me so long as all of the key elements are in place: a good cast, good themes, good tone.

Well, yeah if there's something that's just glaringly bad I probably won't give them a pass on that, being rough around the edges was kind of what I meant about script issues, that should have read "noticeable yet minor". If it's something big I don't think I'll be able to let it slide.....
Thirty-Eight (for the east coast anyway) and a half hours to go!
