But even if Charles were left in charge..he still wouldn't be the owner would he?ckeller22 wrote:What I have gotten out of the original Iv'e been watching it all week is that Knight Industries and the Foundation are two organizations set up by Wilton Knight. Knight Industries was his company that he made all his money from and who Tonya and cohorts tried to infiltrate and topple. The Foundation was created afterwards by Wilton funded by the money made by the Knight Industries company. In watching Junk Yard Dog KITT is brought to Knight Industries were the original team rebuilds him. So what I am saying is that Knight Industries is still operationally throughout Knight Rider who is running the company,it's not Devon he runs the Foundation part of Wilton's affairs. Somebody has to be running the Knight Industries could it be Charles G that's why he has the money to resurrect the Foundation. I wonder what route the producers will take.
Knight Industries maybe owned by shareholders with Charles as the director, it may have been willed to him by Wilton ( i doubt that though ), owned by Michael ( more likely than Gramain owning it i think ) or owned by Jennifer Knight ( possibly ). Now in this new show obviously Knight Industries is an active company and is a seperate identity from FLAG.
I'd go with KI being a publicly listed company that has Gramain as its CEO. He's been there 30 odd years and over that time he has risen to the top. Even his daughter works there. Maybe Jennifer Knight is on the board too..giving it a Knight Family Connection. Or perhaps we can go another route..one i actually prefer.
KI is s private company devoted to R&D..somehting like The Phoenix foundation from MCGyver. Gramain is the CEO, but the Boss, the Big Boss, the Owner is Michael Knight.
Michael Knight wants FLAG resurrected and he wants his pal Charles Gramain to operate it. This would elevate Michael to a Wilton Knight sort of role and make Charles like Devon.
