Check this out... I was watching "Struck Twice" on the 2nd season of MacGyver and noticed the filmed alot of that episode on top of the dam (I believe in the Encino area). You can clearly see the part of the dam that KITT turbo boosted to realease all the water from the chamber that woman was stuck in - don't remember the name of that episode.

I think the "Knight Rider" episode you were talking about was "Knightmares".
Hope that helps......

I think that they filmed there on more than one occasion. In Knightmares (season 2) and Redemption of a champion (4th season).
I don't know if anybody watches the Contender (boxing reality series), but they also filmed one team competition at that same location.

They've used that location in a few shows. There was a thread a while back in which someone said they used the dam on 24 and on Alias. It must be a popular filming site.
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

And I do believe that dam also makes an appearance at the end of the Sci-Fi cult comedy, "Buckaroo Banzai"

I noticed today that in Streethawk episode "Second self" they used the exterior of the same hotel that was used as a Dr. Klaus Bergstrom's hotel in Goliath Returns.
