What would you want in a David Hasselhoff Biography?
As many of you may know a publishing house called the Andrew Lownie Literary Agency is working on a Autobiography on David Hasselhoff, which he is collaborating on with author Peter Thompson.

No offence, but I don't get the question.
It's whatever has gone on in David's personal life that makes it into the book..I didn't think it's the type of thing where fans could pick and choose.
A die hard fan of hasselhoff would want to know as much about him as possible, as its a book about hasselhoff, not about KR.

Exactly. Like:
1. His childhood, what he was like in school, what his parents were like towards him, his favorite childhood memories. Favorite childhood heros.
2. College life, did he finish? What degree did he get, favorite memories such as with his friends, what he liked to do, after-school activities, what types of community or social events he liked, stories of what went on when he was in college. Did he admire any of his teachers/professors.
3. How he got started in his acting career, what was his first show, how he and his family reacted, how he felt about his managers/agents back then, who he was inspired by the most most.
4. His acting career, who he enjoyed working with the most, his most memorable moments, the show, movie, etc. that he enjoyed doing the most.
5. His singing career, why he also went into singing, performance memories and stories, who inspired his style of music, etc.
6. If he wishes, then maybe a bit of his personal life. How he felt about his past and current wives, how they met, maybe a bit about his drinking problem and how he works to overcome it (as it might even inspire others with such problems to work hard as well).
7. I know he supports many great causes in the world, like Wheels of Humanity and Make-A-Wish foundation. Some thoughts on how he was inspired to do these, what other causes he supports and works with and his thoughts on each one and how he feels they can benefit our world (again, this can inspire others).
8. His hopes and dreams for the future, who he is inspired by now, what projects he hopes to be involved in such as movie, TV, show, singing and worldly causes.
9. Maybe even a bit of how he feels about his fans, stories and memories he's had while meeting them.
10. What is his home like, what he likes in a home (ie. if he likes large sprawling acres of nature or a city life or a little of both), what he likes to do on vacation.
Just some ideas of what would make an interesting autobiography. It should be sprinkled with a bit of his troubled times but yet tell of how he overcame them and how it affected his life overall, and have a positive light to it to inspire others to keep on keeping on as well. Yet be informative, from childhood to present and into the future hopes and dreams he has.

I've also got another suggestion: How D. Hasselhoff has tried to handle fame, more or less, even during the overexposed days of "Baywatch"...
I say this because there are so many instant celebs not handling fame well and/or the fame has gone to thir heads so much that they think that showbiz is all about them all of a sudden!:?
I'm not naming names at all, though.......

Exactly what I was saying in item #6.Lyn wrote:Well, I agree with the said things myself, but the biography should include a warts-and-all chapter about
D. Hasselhoff's alcohol addiction and what he's doing to keep sober.
just a thiught......

Good one! I agree there too. I too have seen some famous people I USED to admire go down the toilet because they couldn't handle it. Nobody's perfect though. But it would be nice to learn how someone in that position puts up with and handles things, maybe their scariest moments or what frightens them most about their status in society (so we can get a better idea what they are up against and maybe learn more about how to make THEM more comfortable about meeting US - it goes both ways, just like meeting ANYONE new). What effect it has on his family life, how it affects his parents, siblings, wife, kids...Lyn wrote:How D. Different Stories :-)
I think David should just put anything he feels comfortable telling the public about, but different things that haven't been written in magazines a lot in the past or discussed on interviews a lot. We've heard a lot about when he sang on the Berlin wall in 1989 and all the stories about touring in Germany with his music. David has done a lot of traveling all over the world and I would like to read some of his travel stories that he has never discussed on interviews. I think that would be very interesting. I would also like to see him discuss his family and the fun things they all enjoy doing together like their favorite vacation spots, David's favorite hobbies he enjoys doing with his girls, etc. I think the book should also have humor too! David has a great sense of humor and it would also be fun to read stories of maybe funny things he has encountered while traveling or jokes he has pulled on others. He could talk about his favorite things like episodes of TV series, movies and music he has done. He could also discuss the fandom and talk about his favorite memorabilia and what he enjoys from his fans. David's done a lot of charity work and his stories about different people he has helped would also be interesting. There is so much material they could write about it's incredible! I'm sure the book will be fantastic!
