On Wednesday (May 18th) BMI held it's annual Film & Television Awards dinner. For the first time they added a new category for Ringtones, where Knight Rider was a lucky recipient:

the TV music themes that have become the most-performed songs in the mobile
space; the awards went to Stu Phillips for the theme to "Knight Rider" and
Lalo Schifrin for the theme to "Mission Impossible.
