I'm currently encoding two versions of the entire DH interview now that I've found some webspace.
One is pure WMV (with no nasty DivX) for Windows Media Player, and the other is for RealPlayer.
Both versions will be in full 16:9 widescreen - no letterboxing or tall squashed pictures!
Download location will be revealed in my next post . . .
If you still want that clip, I'll send it to you later . . .

Thank you for posting the clip of the show. It was wonderful. I do not get BBC 1 so I greatly appreciate you putting it up here for us to see. I enjoyed watching it.

I'm now in the process of encoding the clip of DH being interviewed on T4.
BTW, for those of you not familiar with T4, it's a programming strand on Channel 4 in the UK
on Sundays aimed at the teenage audience. It normally features shows such as "Friends",
and "The O.C." along with an omnibus edition of the popular teen soap "Hollyoaks".
The bits in between the (mostly imported from the USA) shows usually consists of celebrity
interviews, (like with DH today) and live performances from current pop artistes and bands.

I have a thought: Perhaps BBC America will eventually pick up the "Jonathan Ross" Tv show and we yanks across the pond will someday, as in a few years from now, be able to see the said show.

I've now encoded the DH interview on T4 in both WMV and RM formats, but I'm having some
problems uploading one of the files. I'll keep you posted as to when they're both online . . .

Ok folks, the DH on T4 interview clips are now online, and in 16:9 widescreen like the others.
http://freepgs.com/djgm/dh-t4.html
These files are smaller as it was a much shorter interview, so even those of you who without
broadband internet, won't really have that long to wait for these download to be completed.
As before, you can chose from Windows Media Player and RealPlayer version of the clip.
Each one has the same content. I've used both videoclip encoding formats to cater for
those of you who prefer one particular videoclip format over the other, and to avoid
any of those boring and unnecessary "(name of program) sucks" debates!
Enjoy!

Hmmm, I didn't know DH had even been interviewed on CapitalFM (or any other radio stations) this week
Luckily, they've archived his interview with their breakfast presenter Johnny Vaughan on their website,
otherwise it'd be a no-go for me. Especially since CapitalFM is a London radio station, and given the
fact that I live in Manchester, over 200 miles northwest of that station's target audience . . . !

I am having the same problem. I also have the newest windows media player avaliable. But I keep getting the same message that it requires windows media player. If anyone knows what to do about this so that we could listen to the interview, please let us know.
Thank you very much,
Pam

Thanks for the compliment . . .
I've managed to grab a copy of the CapitalFM Johnny Vaughan at Breakfast interview with DH,
and I'm currently converting it to an MP3, so you don't have to use Windows Media Player.

I was able to hear it ok. I have Windows XP Pro SP2 and the latest updates to Windows Media Player so I guess that might have helped.
I'm glad to have heard that the KR Movie is still 'in the works'.

For those that haven't heard it yet, either due to technical difficulties, or some other reason . . .
Right click the link below, and "Save Link As..." to download.
http://freepgs.com/djgm/DH-CapitalFM.zip - 12,490KB
I've encoded it in standard MP3 format so it can be heard with any media player application,
be that Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, QuickTime or whatever. You can even
copy it on to your iPod (if you have one) or any other personal digital audio player!
(BTW . . . I've put the MP3 inside a zipfile, since MP3's aren't allowed on the server I'm using!)

Don't worry, that was while it was just an MP3. I've changed that to the zipfile containing the MP3.

I know he's always in the spotlight abroad, but i wish D. Hasselhoff would be in the U.S. spotlight some....
Is it my imagination or do we dumb Americans have a phobia against those celebs who are above the age of 50?
I wish that phobia would stop. It's gotten ridiculous!
