KITT on Dream Car Garage

Hey all,

Dream Car Garage on Speed Vision had a segment on Rob Louisell's KITT replica on the show. The clip is available on Louisell's web site

I watched the clip and as a Knight replicar owner I was actually insulted by this segment. The guy driving the car talked about it like it was the dumbest thing he had ever seen. Kept asking the quesiton "Would you really need to own one?"

WHAT THE HELL KINDA QUESTION IS THAT?!?!? We own replicas of KITT becasue we like the show. You didn;t like it? DON'T FRIKIN' OWN ONE IDIOT!!!

Someone should tell that jackass that it's an '82 Trans Am, not an '81. And this guy is supposed to know a lot about cars.

And at the end they used KARR's voice. And then they called him KARR when he started with KITT's voice. Accurate? I don't remember KITT's foglights being so prominent? Or was that a 4th season replica? That might have been it.

They must have put a lot of work in it from what I can see. But I was never a fan of that replica builder so I am too biased to really say anything.

And yeah, that wasn't an '81 because the first of that Firebird style was in '82. And KITT was a Firebird Trans Am model, not the Firebird or Firebird SE.

Ah well, we all love KITT anyway and know what KITT is like and looks like.

i like KITT's kick ass Pioneer MP3 CD player (i have that same one!) and it's really cool that his scanner is going backwards the first time they show it : )

actually, I don;t think he meant "KARR" i think he meant "car." You can tell by the way he said it.

In case it's not common knowledge, that body style is ONLY 1982-1992.

What a jerkoff!!!, man dissing the sterring wheel and I wish it did take off his family jewals. Moron talking about it like it's a piece of crap, I beat the general lee would have gotten props and that car sucks compared to Kitt, whatever, people are so ignorite when it comes to Knight Rider.
