Here is the opening scene which begins as a funeral for Devon Miles. let me know what you guys think and if you think I should continue on to page 2.

Opening Scene
Movie begins with camera panning in from a distance above a large group of people surrounding a closed casket. The letters on the casket become more visible as the camera moves closer, the letters read “Devon Miles, 1923-1997”.
Priest: Thank you for coming today. We are here to remember a great man, Devon Miles. He was a man of great ambition, a man of great compassion, and most of all had a will to carry on a legacy. It was Wilton Knights legacy that perpetuated his beliefs that we all can make a difference in the world. His many years of work at the Foundation for Law and Government contributed to helping people in need, which with the help of Mr. Michael Knight, helped take many corrupt criminals off the streets. Today we greave for the loss of this great man, but we also remember the many great memories we all have of him. Michael, would you like to say something?
*Michael walks up to and stands beside the priest facing the small crowd of people*
Michael: I remember when I first met Devon, he seemed like a strange guy at first, playing cricket and eating crumpets with tea. In truth, Devon became like a second father to me, he took me in and trusted me with the Foundations duties. We both spent many dedicated years together both working for a safer place that we could all live in. He truly was the kindest man I knew, he always thought of others before himself, truly a selfless person. His devotion to his work, family, and friends made him an example by which all others strived to be like. Devon will truly be missed.
*Michael walks over to the casket and puts one hand on top*
Michael: Goodbye my friend, rest in peace…we all miss you.
Priest: And now may we all take a few moments of silence to remember Devon Miles
*Bagpipes start playing funeral song while casket slowly is lowered into the ground*
*Michael, April, and Bonnie all throw roses down onto the casket as it’s lowered into the darkness of the ground. Picture slowly fades out as caskets goes deeper into the ground*

Thanks for the feedback! I'm just brain storming ideas now before I continue writing. I have a vague idea of how I want Michael's role to be in the script, however, there has to be some sort of impending danger that must happen somewhere. I'm going with the idea that Michael goes on one last mission before taking Devons place as the head of the Foundation. I would like to introduce someone new near the end.
About K.I.T.T, I am thinking about using the original 82--84 trans am and having the electronics replaced with updated technology. For example, GPS, LCD screens etc. This is the car Michael Knight will use on his last mission. When I introduce the new character at the end, he will get a completely new car. There will be no lame Super Pursuit Mode.
The continuity of the story will pretty much omit the events of the 1991 movie, except for the fact that Devon Miles is dead. However, he would not have died by lethal injection like in the TV film, just by old age.
