Got another car for my conversion
Many of you know I got rid of my 84. I wasn't looking for another one but I saw it two weeks after I sold my 84 and realized it wanted to come home with me. LOL

Is it a 305 or 191?
Looks good. Having a 92 made me really want a season 1/2 nose when I got the chance, because stock it looks too season 4-ish. I wanted the blackouts to add a little something different to it.
Do you plan on having the toneau top added or leave it as a ragtop?

Actually it was a pretty good price, a couple thousand more than my 84 and that one had all kinds of problems so I'm ahead of the game. I'm not doing the cowl hood or air extrators but I will do a spoiler. I will probably change the tan ragtop to a black one day but it will probably stay the way it is for a while..
The engine is a 305 5.0 liter

now thats awesome that you found another kitt to keep herbie company!...and if you choose to keep it stock and if you want to mod the nose like I did on my 91'?....I got the sollution>> http://hometown.aol.com/sheltonw3/page3.html
and I do highly recommend to upgrade the fog lights to "pilot " brand!....they are far more brighter and fit in perfectly and serve the smae function as the headlights!....and adding a jc whitney scanner will be a total sinch ,but do not forget to add a scanner blackout to avoid getting tickets!

Here are two stages on my Herbie. The first pics are of the classic herbie and the other pics are of the Nascar Herbie which can go back to the classic look pretty quick. The neat thing is the headlights, steering wheel and glovebox are from the original Herbie in the new movie. I knew someone who worked on the set so I was fortunate to get real parts. The first two pics are old classic herbie and the last two pics is Nascar herbie with the wider wheels.

As Buddy Hacket says "He's a cute little fella" I always have a good time taking herbie out especially when I have the beep beep cd plugged in. When I'm parked, I have the cd going and Herbie beeps at people. I take him to car shows too. Kitt will be fun too but I'm not going to make him tv perfect. I will have the scanner but possibly keep the 92 nose. My husband and I always wanted a convertible so we both agreed to a Firebird but only if he is a semi- Kitt. LOL
