Season 5 and 6?

Post by Army_F_Body » Wed Apr 06, 2005 4:38 pm

Was at the Knight Rider Archive today (great site by-the-way) and noticed this article from 1987:

http://www.knightriderarchive.com/archive.html
(look under articles, and KITT: Star Car

I know this as been discussed before, but I've always wondered the truth about it. I wonder what artifacts may exist out there from this lost season if real.

I've seen lots of articles around the 86-87 timeframe that give every indication that the show was to continue.

I think that's a case of wishful thinking actually, but it's fun to think about, though....

I could only wish (*sigh*).

If it ever was true, I'd hope Universal would surprise us with DVD sets. :)

It's just a typo. That's why Paul (i presume) added the [sic].

Yeah. I had always thought that they knew before filming began that 4 was the last.

I think KR could have lasted at least 2 more seasons without too much loss in story (at least they could have rebounded from 4 fairly easy) or character.

Oh, well :)
KITT project is on again!

Currently working on: brand new stock tan interior, almost done!

Absolutely. That's basic editorial to draw attention to a mistake made in the source material, not by me as an editor. I don't alter the words of the articles I publish on the site, but I do note make use of the "[sic]" flags if necessary.

sic is used in editorial for confirmation of quoted words, usually of incorrect information. (Example: there's another time I remember using it on the site when an article referred to K.I.T.T. as a Lambourghini).
