I posted outside the current '1/18 Die Cast KITT Coming In December' topic simply to grab your attention. Go to

Basically, I saw this new KITT today at a local hobby place here in Toronto, Canada. The only differences I noticed so far were the 6 clear fogs (Similar to Aoshima) and the black base that it comes on.

So did the 6 fog lights you saw in person have the black dots like the picture? Or were they the more realistic-looking ones?

Yes, the black dots were there. In fact, I believe the photo above is actually the version I saw today.

I bought the car and brought it home (Toronto, Canada) this evening. I see no differences between this & the first batch released late last year except for the fog lights.

It sounds to me like Ertl is putting lower-quality parts in its K.I.T.T. models from now on. Those nicer lights are what made me buy the Ertl version (and the price, too) even though it contained the orange lights. But hey, if you're happy with it, that's what matters, right?
