FLAG 1 Semi in KR Movie

Post by KNIGHT RAIDER » Mon Feb 28, 2005 9:17 pm

I hope to see a 21st century version of the FLAG 1 semi in the upcoming Knight Rider movie. I hope they make the trailer compartment large enough to hold two vehicles and I hope it will be equipped with all the latest technology, along with comfortable living quarters.
I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)

All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

i can picture the 21st century version having a bunch of LCD computer monitors and one main plasma TV that could show satellite TV or photos of bad guys or something of that nature.
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

I could picture it expanding into a mobile command base, sort of like the one in the movie "Universal Soldier".

Why did I suddenly get the image in my head of Michael sitting in front of a giant plasma TV playing video games? 8)

I actually built up a 1:25th scale mock up of my idea for the furture
semi's trailer. Its done up in layered thin plywoods but I did get
some inspiration from Universal Soldiers truck. My version also
solves the problem of how KITT can actually open his doors while
inside. I should be able to get some pictures posted up soon.

I'd like to see it, but more elaborate than it was portrayed in the series.

The office area doesn't need much updating, I can see more plasma/LCD screens. K.I.T.T.'s garage bay I'd like to see more going on: jacks, analyzers, cables, wires, a couple of (non-speaking) assistants to Bonnie/April whoever. Have more activity. Make it a real pit-area!

An updated trailer would rock! I think Michael would be playing something like Half-Life or one of those war simulator games.

Two car trailer would be great! KARR would be in there too. Though if too many are around KITT and too much going on, I think eventually KITT will complain about being prodded and poked too much. Remember, this is his home away from home so he has to be comfortable. I can see instead robotic arms come out and hook up a series of wires to KITT, like driving into an alcove and getting hooked in (or like the Borg or something). For KITT it'd be "natural" to him to be around robots, etc. Though Bonnie and/or April will still be needed for adding upgrades, etc. :)

As long as it is a semi and not a freakin' jumbo jet or something like Sky One in TKR. Omg that was horrible...
