Tonight my best friend and me went to Wal-Mart around 11pm. I was driving us in my Firebird and when I got to the parking lot I started to turn left and all of a sudden my friend Mel yells out, GO RIGHT, GO RIGHT!!!....So I turn right and there he is...KITT!! We spotted the scanner going in the parking lot and pulled in and parked close to it. That was quite a surprise! The car was parked with the scanner light left on and people were walking by and checking it out. It was an absolutely beautiful replica , inside and out just like the KITT on TV. The person who had parked right next to KITT pulled out, so I moved my car and ended up parking right next to KITT. We took some pics with Mel's camera and then we sat in my car until the owner came out. We got out of my car and went over to his car. He rolled down the window and showed us the dash. He was very nice and even let us take turns sitting in the driver's seat while we took pics of each other in KITT. We talked for a little while and then we watched him peel out of the parking lot. It was fate that we happened to be there tonight.
I'll be posting the pics of us and KITT on my site this next week.
We had a blast!

WOA!! COOOOL!

Please let us know when pics are up. I'd be like going nutz!
The closest I came was a couple 3rd gens and a formula. Well the one 3rd gen had 300,000 miles and in good shape. I parked right next to it and talked to the owner. Then other formula T/A I parked kitty corner and next to in the store parking lot not too long ago. We get some old cars in the area, which I'm quite lucky to see. No KITT here yet though.

I just thought of something. Good thing you didn't try to talk to the car and it answer back. I think you both would have been passed out and miss the owner!

That's awesome, Natalie. That definately would have made my night! There used to be a replica of K.I.T.T. in my home town of Valley Stream a few years ago for a brief time but subsequently disappeared. I never got to get a good look at it though.

That is always something I dream about every night, Natalie!!
I don't know if there's a KITT car around my neighborhood.
If there is, the KITT owner will have a restraining order out on me for stopping at their house every day!
If you don't make a difference, you are not the Knight Rider.

Hey DavidHFanNatalie,
I wish I was with you guys. I would kill (not literally) to see one let alone, Be able to sit in a replica KITT. In a few years, when I make my millions, I shall drive in my own KITT & KARR replica.
Thanks for sharing us that awesome story.

Hey Turbomanknight,
I never mind helping out my fellow knightrider friends. Just as long as you're okay with receiving "dirty" money.

( In case the FED's are lurking, that was a joke)
