Hi, recently I won an auction on ebay for 3 Fan Club newsletters from what was called "The Official British Knight Rider Fan Club." These newsletters were No. 15 & 16 from 1988 and No. 23 from 1990. They were several pages long and I found them to be very interesting. It contained articles are about actors from KN ask well as offers to purchase merchandise or places & people to write to. I never new such a fan club existed.
Does anyone on this MB know about this club and these newsletters? If so, is there somewhere I could get copies of more of the issues?
Also, in each of the newsletters there was a page listing a dozen or so issues of "Knight Rider Magazine" which was for sale from the fan club. These magazines were 60 pages and contained 2 or 3 knight rider fanfic stories. I am most interested in these magazines and in getting a copy of some of them.
Does anyone know about these magazines and are these stories still available somewhere?
Any help I could get on this would be appreciated. Either respond back on this board or email me at MRlovesDC@aol.com
Thank you.
Melody

RE: knight rider fan club & magazine
The newsletters were about 16 or so pages long. They were what I call a homemade job (typed on a typewriter and xeroxed). Articles from magazines and newspapers were copied. It was a quarterly thing. The ones that I purchase on ebay spanned the months of Jan-June and they listed birthdays of members for each month. I counted a total of 71 people listed for the six month period. So it must of had some following. Two of the issues were from 1988 and the third was from 1990.

Well, it did exist, I have copies of these newsletters. The address on one of them is Bebington, Wirral, Merseyside? The address to order the fanfic magazine was Radipole Lane, Wymouth, Dorset, England. I think the club existed before there was these on-line boards and websites, it was in the 80s so internet was not around. Just thought there might be someone out there that was a part of the club so I could get some more information about it.
