The KITT Kit was a promotional giveaway before season 2 began. I just noticed that in the commercial for the KITT Kit, the poster Hasselhoff holds up is not the same as the one that was shipped out.
Was David simply holding up a rough draft? Or was there some top secret information in there that they didn't want us to know? I suspect it was the same people who got rid of Patricia...

hahahahaha, poor april, always overshadowed just cuz she was put in the place of someone who fit better.
(and I fully agree Bonnie was better, just saying)
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

An inferior pre-production line model.

It's most likely a rough draft. The small noticable differences in the one that was shipped and one that had been held up by David (from what I can tell:
1. The front angle version of KITT, third row, left side of picture next to the closeup sketch of KITT's dashboard (and voice box).
2. The one that David holds in the picture is missing the box indicating the showtime for the second season.

Yeah...I bet.
I keep looking on Ebay, but don't find it.
That link above has some nice PDF files I could print out though...
Might have to do that!

I've seen them in ebay a couple of times but I don't know if they are authentic or just reproductions. I'd suggest finding a site that has it and just printing it out, it saves a lot of money that way.

I sent away for that as a kid, and never received it. I was devastated!! I was pretty young, and must have made mistake on the SASE or something.

Hey, Michael had a PDF of it on his site a while back. I printed one out with an inkjet, it coming out on two pages (hey, I'm not going to complain about that).

I had one as a kid, and you aren't going to believe what happened to it... It was stolen. I remember how happy I was when My parents got it for me. I would love to print out a new set.
