Well if I also had the moolah (money), then I would definitely go for Aoshima too. Not being rich does have its disadvantages

No, not rich... I just have to save some money so I can get the Aoshima KITT.. If I were rich, I would be gtting KARR as well  But no.... I'm just getting KITT

UPDATE: HLJ have stopped taking preorders for both the 1:18 KITT and KARR... And the Aoshima KITT that is in my shopping cart that I have already ordered since last month is stated as "Future release"....

Hmmm... Please don't tell me that it has been delayed again...

The KITT car should be shipping to the UK in February. I would expect that you shold see it at retail late Feb to mid March.

UK Retailer GPL still has November as the release date. I'll be mighty pissed off if this is the case!

Why do you guys have to get all up in arms about it? Sure, we all want a great product. But you all can frenzy yourselves into a heartattack by overreacting to every little imperfect detail. Especially since we haven't seen the FINAL product yet! Just kick back, and wait to see what happens! Go with the flow! Because in the end, that's all we can really do. Right? :D

My mate who works in a ModelShop in the UK says they're expecting a delivery "anytime soon". I've got one on reserve there, so I'll let you know if/when he tells me it's arrived.

Oh my god!!!!! Sarfraz!!!! Damn.... How I wish I can order as much as you did... 2 Airwolfs?? One limited and one normal version I suppose... 2 Bandai Voyagers... 1 for your friend I suppose

So u have finally decided to get the Aoshima KITT.... :D You are lucky u ordered it fast coz HLJ has once again stopped taking orders for the 1:18 KITT... As of now, KARR is still available for order...

Both of us have the same interest.. but I ordered the Bandai Voyager at my local hobby shop bcoz it is cheaper to get it through that shop..

Anyways, this is what I have on order at HLJ right now.... Small, unlike yours.. LOL!!!!

1x 1:18 KITT
1x 1:48 Limited Airwolf

I have a sneaky feeling that the Airwolf will not be released in time by Christmas... hmmm...

...ah you know me so well  although its 2 normal airwolfs as am ordering one for a friend. The order got alittle out of hand (bloody Predaking!) but I thought it was best to just place all the items I wanted from one place. One parcel, one customs hit, more savings.

...no surprise that I'm nowhere near getting a KITT conversion.

Sarfraz, why aren't you getting the ertl version now that it's been confirmed the errors on KITT were just on the prototype?

...well to be honest I'm not sure. Something about the ERTL model isn't sitting well in my head. Call it past experience of ERTL's quality control which is not a match for Aoshimas....but something is really not adding up. These cars are probably made in a factory in China (not at ERTL HQ in USA) and then shipped to their relevant customers. Its illogical for the cars to be shipped to ERTL then Aoshima buys and re-do some of the cars into KARR. If that was the case the KARR model would have cost much more than KITT.

I now fully expect Grand Prix Legend to have a signed versions of the ERTL model in a few months down the road. They already have a signed version of the Corgi KR car...so its a fair assumption. However, its not made my choice any easier. I'm simply going on instinct and past experience. It may prove to be my undoing but the cost difference isn't as much as I thought it would be. That mass order has made the price difference between the ERTL and Aoshima cars not much at all. Whatever the case I should be able to give a comparison once the ERTL version gets released in the UK as I'll probably be one the of few to stick with Aoshimas KITT.....call me illogical

Yes, u can ship them together. U can request for partial shipments of any items in your order that is available or u can wait till all orders are in stock. Read the FAQ here>>> http://www.hlj.com/faq/q22.html Hope it helps... Here is the main FAQ page>> http://www.hlj.com/faq/hljfaq.html

Oh ya, and they also changed the November release to "Future release" coz HLJ has stopped taking orders for the 1:18 cars (again) for now. I don't know why, but everytime this happens, they will change the status and state "Future release". Though I'm still certain that it will still be released anytime in November.. I hope by early November!!!!!!

You and me both!!!! I was excited when I got the 1:43 cars as well.... But nothing can compare to the 1:18 KR cars... I'm about twice as excited now as I was for the 1:43 cars.... I can't wait for these!!!! C'mon!!!!

Heh, patience is a virtue, but in this case, our virtues are wearing thin. I myself can't wait to see it being sold at our local hobby store. I may not be able to buy it yet but I do want to take a close look and reserve one for myself (the owner of the shop is an acquaintance of mine).
