Moderators: neps, Matthew, Michael Pajaro
Hi I am new here..
Long time Fan of Show. I heard about the Season Set and I am also Happy to hear about it coming to DVD. If it is a Good seller we may see that other spinoff "Team Knight Rider" also. I never got a chance to catch that spinoff show, I guess it did not do too good.
anyway glad to be here.

I noticed that a lot of people have been speculating as to whether the bonus feature "Knight Rider 2000" is actually the 1991 reunion movie or some other feature. I will email my contact at Universal to find out. However, if you look at the length of that feature - 1 hour 36 min - that sure sounds like the movie length. It ran for 2 hours, minus commercials. Does anyone have a record of how long KR2K was? Also, judging by the times given on each disk - Disk 1 will contain 7 episodes (3 on one side, 4 on the other), Disk 2 will contain 8 episodes (4 on each side), and Disk 3 will contain the remaining 6 episodes.

Thanks Neil...actually, my goal is to make this the longest thread ever seen on KRO
Adding to that...
The Universal site states that the case will be "Digipak with Outer Box". A little research came up with this site:
http://www.digipak.com
That should give everyone a general idea as to how the series will be packaged...although I'm sure that's how it was being envisioned in the first place!

Heh, I was actually thinking of shutting this one down in favor of the other thread with the more recent announcement since this grew so much
Hmm.. Thats good and bad I think with the digi-packs. They do make for nice presentations but not the most durable. The region 1 Buffy's use them, X-Files, Any HBO program... maybe even the LOTR special sets. Seems we are in good company.

well the most replies is a Knight Rider game thread at 436 posts:
http://knightrideronline.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=160
And I'll be shutting the thread down waaaaay before that if the posts are nothing but filler.

Damn, my fears were confirmed from an another thread...I hate digi-packs and was hoping it wouldn't be like that. Something like the 'BTTF' trilogy box R1 would have done nicely.
That's more tape to put on each disk to make sure it stays put!!!
Btw, KR2000's running time is 91 mins. Make of that what you will.

...5 mins difference....hmmm unedited KR2000?
Most of my DVD boxsets seem to be in that digipak format..not sure if thats what they actually are (eg 24 season 1). They seem to work fine for me and are probably the only viable way of storing numerous DVD's.
Anyway, when are other online companies gonna have KR on their databases? I've only seen the KR season 1 boxset on amazon.com.
