Knight 4000 'Emoticon'

Post by KARR Engineer » Sun Mar 07, 2004 9:23 am

This is not an emoticon, but it's a gif, although it's a JPEG. This took me a while and I 'molded' the nose off a photo. This is a PROTOTYPE so any comments are welcome.

Sorry about the quality. I'll try to fix it if I can. For now, enjoy!

The above JPEG is a preview. It is for those who just want to see how good it is. For those who want the real deal:

Sorry it's a bmp, but neither JPEG or gif give the true quality. If Your browser has problems, save it and open it in Paint.

Not bad, a bit to angular and 1950s though. Keep it up!

I don't understand how you can't get any better quality with JPEG or GIF, as thousands of sites use that format without any quality degradation. You may want to look into a more advanced program such as Photoshop, cause BMP is so antiquated.

I'm working on it!

As I said, it is the PROTOTYPE, so any comments are welcome. I don't understand what You mean by '1950s' though.

I realize it's a prototype, I'm only commenting on it as you requested.

What I mean by 1950's; the style of certain parts reminds me of that time. it looks like the car has fins, like the old Chevy Bel Airs.

Ah, okay.

I've been messing around with the picture and I remembered the poster that is so blurred. So, I made it blurred. The body worked out, but the black area at the top doesn't like being blurred.

HIGH quality JPEG: Image

I'm working on the final version - final touches are being applied.

YAY!

YAY! I managed to make a JPEG without (did You notice I like using italic?) nearly any loss of quality? Plus, this is the final version! In the previous ones I forgot about the scanner opening ( ). I also put the door handle in the right place. Enjoy!

Remember, You can use it on Your message board!

Now onto my next project, whatever that is.

Thanks, ramon88us. Don't worry aussieknight, I'm not planning on KITT. Your position is not in danger.
