I got Knight Rider Legacy for Christmas!

*dances*
It's about time. It's a lot bigger than I had expected. And it's fascinating. (heehee, I love that KITT was inititially TATT).
Well..that's all I had to say, haha, oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

Had that been the car's name, we all would be talking about the classic episode "Tit for T.A.T.T."

If it's something you already have and don't need, can I have it? J/K!

it might be a collectors item in the future so i'm thinking of holding onto it.
besides, PAL tapes don't play on NTSC vcr's.

those tapes that i got for christmas were pal tapes that parents bought for me on ebay the classic collections series and it works on my vcr just fine. now i know that pal playstation disks don't work but i believe that some pal tapes work on ntsc machine's.

It depends on what VCR you have, some of the newer VCR's are compatible.

All the VHS stuff I watch is on my VHS combo TV (with a DVD player hooked up to it so I can watch my DVDs). Would the type of tapes you guys are talking about work on that or would it have to be those certain VCRs?

Once again, depends on the year, and model.

well it might play on old vcr's but the thing is the graghics will not be as good as a new vcr's would play the pal format. but i'm not sure about dvd's if the pal disks will work on a even old dvd or new dvd player. i just know that some pal tapes will work on some vcr's for the ntsc format. for the dvd's i think you might have to buy a coonverter like you have to pal playstation game like knight rider that never came in the ntsc version.

No, you don't have to buy a converter for DVD's, either it will play it, or it won't. You can reprogram your DVD player with a crack, but it could end up ruining your entire DVD player. And it will play on older VCR's, you will get nothing but lines.

I was asking if it would work on a combo unit. I don't use VCRs since they all have been dumped after getting DVD players. VHS stuff is now just watched on combo units so they can still be used. But I am going with the idea that it depends on the model and year. I think the TV in my room is a 2001 Zenith.
