Skip all those butt-ugly Mustang's, and it's a good K.I.T.T. line. We'll just pretend F.L.A.G. folded Michael was forced elsewhere, until a problem arises and he and still-living members, along with Bonnie, revigerate the program to save the day, after the Mustang's.
And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.

I have to say I enjoy seeing the possible evolution of KITT, but the original is still the best!

Wrong, the mustang was a disaster and it didn't work at all.

So your telling me the corvette won't be a disaster.
They will not do the vette it will fail BIG time!
The red knight 4000 dodge stealth would be better than the vette.

The reason why it won't be the mustang was because they couldn't customize it the way Scheffe did the trans am in the 80's.All they could add was a scanner in a hood compared to what Scheffe did by adding the lower lip to the front bumper, changing the angle, continuing the lines from the hood, blacking out the rear tail lights, adding a very complex computerized dash, overhead console, lower console, gullwing steering wheel, etc. All the added to the mustang was a different wheel and an orb.
Never has KR used the same car type twice between KR82,KR2000,TKR,KR08 there have always been new bodys.I think its time for the camaro. Many people agree it should either be the camaro or vette.I would lean closer to the camaro with several body changes

because the new corvette stingray is better, sleeker and faster than the mustang could ever have achieve.
plus it's more highly advanced.

At this point, I'm definitely a C7 Corvette guy when it comes to how I envision a modern day movie Knight 2000.
Now, moving onto the muscle car argument, the Mustang had one distinct advantage when the backdoor pilot went into production; no competition. The base models were cheap and easy to modify into GT500KR replicas, and given the limitations of a TV budget, it was the only viable option short of plumping for a foreign import.
Matt
Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.
Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

Now if i had to pick from the vette or camaro it would be the corvette. I would even take the 4th gen trans am over the camaro.
The 5th gen camaros just to boxy.
