Here is the radio frame I have been working on, for your Knight 2000 or 3rd Gen. T/A 1985-1992
Brackets perfectly aligned!!
Prototype Frame
Finished Updated Frame! Long tabs in the back.

Clips/connecters on the tabs!
Updated Frame! Perfect tight even fit!! Added more curves on the bottom section than the previous frame.

Line curves perfect!!
Tell me what you guys think!!!

Do you make one to fit the 82-84 correct console?

Looks great!
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.

I actually tried for the 82-84 radio. Making the frame itself is the easiest out of all frames I have done, the big problem with this is the metal bracket will need to be trimmed, then the actual console will have to be trimmed, top and bottom. Trimming the bottom part is actually the problem. I will try again another day.

Hey Billy,
I would be very interested in an '82-'84 style if you decide to make one. If you can make it look factory as possible with the "angle-cut" corners and and textured finish, ect.
Nice job!

Hi Guys and Gals!
I managed to catch up with Billy and get one of these from him! If you have a double din radio and want to get it into your 3rd gen firebird this is the way to go! I will post some pics hopefully this weekend! It looks great!
Thanks Billy!
