Fantastic!
See that I found the video of the car KITT, because this car is automatic (Auto Cruise) and walks alone.
I liked very much.

I do not know, Knight Racer.
But I repaired what the chair moved and it seems to me that it is hidden there below inside in the car KITT...

Wow!
I'm speechless...
I cannot for the life of me figure out how that was done.
Remote control probably...

he had made another video and showed how he did it, but that solution video has been removed. he is actually in the in the car driving in the drivers seat, but you cant see him because of the angle of the camera. but if you look very closey under the steering wheel you can barely see his leg. 1:43 time in video

Amazing photo. Is that from original Universal stock photographs? And I take it that it's from the later series, when then often had the hidden drive on the passenger side.
Love it.

this is a shot of the blind driver on the drivers side the car they used in season 3 and 4 was the hero car from season 2

this us a shot of the blind driver on the passenger side the car here is a stunt car with a curve dash with no electronics

a closer shot here you can see the orange arm through the seat and the canopy
to this day i still cant believe the skill it took to drive the cars while so restricted sitting behind the seat looking throught a small piece of glass brilliant

michael;i've got a problem.
devon;my dear boy, dont be so modest, you have a wide range of problems.

Neither can I. to do those 180s etc. I don't ever recall much of a skill at driving to any degree though in auto cruise. no skiing, no turbo boost.

ive been trying to think of a turbo boost kitt does in auto cruise both the turbos in soul solivivor (when kitt jumps over the rolls royce) and knightmares( when kitt jumps the construction workers) has the stunt car with the windows blackened so no need for a blind driver
however when karr jumps over kitt at the museum (below) there is no driver in the seat now there is someone in the passenger seat ( presumably a stunt double for tony)but at that time there was no stunt car that drove from the passenger seat(not until season 3)
note also in the other shot shows that karr does not land on the ground(although the sound effect does)he lands on a raised platform in an interview with jack gill he states that he designed a bungee type harness to protect him from the turbo landings
if indeed a blind driver performed this turbo the landing would have hurt so i think they made the landing higher to prevent causing injury to the driver
just my opinion

Great capture. I remember that scene. Now I notice the fake wall and fake door.
