Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
The problem with this is if you look close enough, you can see from the reflection that the scanner is actually on the hood, and NOT embedded into the ready made port that looks like it was designed for a scanner...JJSoCrazy wrote:Check it out:

Yeah, and the car is red, not black like I think it should have been. But I have to admit, the new camaro would have been a great car for knight rider. The HID lights as headlights look like growling eyes....they are so sweet looking.

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
Black is much better.
Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
In a way its better they didnt use it for KITT, because personaly I would have a more trouble in accepting the fact the show is over. I mean they used a mustang -whihc is not very much good looking lets face it- as KITT and we went nuts for the show and we demand another season.2K&3KKITT wrote:Yeah, and the car is red, not black like I think it should have been. if they used the camaro as KITT, it would have been twice as fun and even better to watch, and at the end, twice as bad to lose. you know?

The Camaro totally fails with a scanner... it looks like a misplaced nuclear radiating uni brow .

When I first saw this crap KITT did not come to mind. The KITT parody Carson GT Nighthawk(from Burnout Paradise) came to mind since that car has a Blue scanner.
A Knight Rider fan who isn't in denial about the 2008 show's cancellation.

Thankfully that is just your opinion and not fact. I dislike the Camaro and would have a Mustang over that car any day. Don't mean to sound harsh, just my 2 cents .

The mustang fits KITT perfectly, it's one of the best looking cars ever as well.

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
I never quite got used to the Mustang as KITT as I still think KITT should look more aerodynamic and futuristic than a musclecar, much pretty as said car might be, but for those same reasons the Camaro is out for me as well. I certainly hope that they do go through the trouble of modifying whatever car they choose for the movie.

But to me, the mustang doesn't work at all, another reason why KR 08 Failed, cause it shows.

Why, precisely? The camaro has a cartoony and ugly fron end, and the side windows are far too narrow and it lacks any sort of style and elegance, unlike the GT500KR.

But the GT500KR looks to cheap and it doesn't look like knight rider at all, the new camaro is stylish and looks better.

Get rid of the pink-reddish stripe color and yeah why not.

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
I didnt like the Mustang at first sight. but after the reboot, they started to film the car from different angles and directions that showed the car in a different style.
to be honest, the Mustang will not be my No.1 choice as KITT but it is not that bad at the same time, you know?

I own both a 1995 Camraro AND a 2006 black Mustang.
They are both very nice cars.
I hated on the Mustang too before I got one.
Now, not so much.
But I do understand where the Camaro guys are coming from.

Re: New 2010 Camaro with KITT Scanner!
The funny bit is, the Camaro always was a copy of the Mustang, back in the 60's and even now with the new model. I have an interim video where sculptors of the Camaro are working on the clay model, when the camera panned pack to face the sculptors there was an '05 Mustang next to the clay model.
But... I think it is useless to just keep bashing a car or an individual because of his or her preference... if you like the Camaro... great be happy with it. I personally will take the original pony car and try to be happy with that .
