My Knight Rider Models

1. Knight Rider with light scanner.

i didn't build this model, my brother gave it to me. i managed to get a front scanner to fit in the 1/25 scale MPC KR model. i changed the round LEDs for square ones and that makes them fit better. the circuit sits in front of the engine (removed radiator) and the battery hangs out the back (i might have to put it in the trunk some stage).

2. Knight Rider 1996
The fourth gen Pontiac Firebird is a natural to be a KITT. tsk

3. Smokey & Bandit 3
made from the MPC Knight Rider kit, i removed the KITT scanner and painted as per the movie.

4. The other Nite Rider. sorry, wrong movie

Here's another pic of the knight 1996, sorry its a bit dusty. the front of the updated Pontiac suits the knight rider style front scanner. i just removed the divider notch and put a red scanner piece. this was made from a piece of transparent red plastic out of the bin, that i heated and shaped to a curve to match the hood. it has foil behind it to make it brighter (and also behind the taillights). the dash is out of the mpc knight rider kit. i left the rims chrome to break up the black.
